It is with great regret that we have decided to look for a forever home for Cassy. She is in great need for a family or single person with lots of love & time for her where she is the only animal. Cassy would be ideal for an obedience home, would do great at Rally-O and would make a wonderful Therapy dog. She would also make a perfect hiking or camping companion. She loves children, although has not been raised with them, and is very devoted to her people. Cassy is 3 years old and is spayed.

Cassy came to us at four months old showing a very strong personality but a very sensitive one as well. Cassy’s feeling get very hurt if she is left out of anything. She is my Velcro girl. I do not go anywhere without her by my side. I had had Cassy for about 3 weeks and was keeping her in my bedroom at night until she got use to our routines, she would just sit and watch me and cuddle up at every given chance. One night before we went to bed, she needed to go out for her bathroom duties, I had said “just a minute Cassy” and in true Leo fashion she simply grabbed the door handle in her mouth and tried to open it. This is something she continues to try, bringing in groceries one night she poked her nose at the screen door handle trying to open it. Needless to say all doors are kept shut so my girl can’t leave whenever she wants to.
